Course Description
The Certified Trainer Authorized Person Series prepares you to teach the FT-Xpert 4-hour Authorized Person and 8-hour Authorized Person Advanced courses. You’ll start with a two-day Competent Person course to build a strong foundation in fall protection. The next two days focus on trainer development, with expert guidance on course structure, teaching techniques, and classroom management. By the end, you’ll be ready to deliver clear, engaging, and compliant training sessions.

Target Audience
This course is for safety professionals, supervisors, trainers, or anyone who teaches others about fall protection. A basic understanding of safety and fall protection is recommended.
Course Format
This course combines classroom learning with hands-on activities. You’ll explore fall protection topics, practice using trainer materials, and receive feedback to build your confidence in delivering the Authorized Person course.
Course Materials
You’ll receive a complete instructor kit with trainer guides, outlines, test materials, and access to the FT-Xpert Presenter Tool and Trainer Hub. The kit also includes student workbooks for your first course. More can be ordered as needed period.
Certification
After completing the course, you’ll earn a certificate to teach FT-Xpert Authorized Person courses. Certification is valid for two years and can be renewed online through a quick instructor-led session that updates both trainer and student credentials.
