Mounted on a tripod or davit, the FT-R Arc Flash SRL-R switches to rescue mode fast—pull the plunger pin and crank to raise or lower the worker with smooth control.
The FT-R Arc Flash SRL-R works just like a standard SRL, automatically paying out and retracting as you move. If a fall occurs and rescue is needed, simply pull the plunger pin to switch into rescue mode, then use the built-in hand crank. Turn the crank clockwise to lower the worker or counterclockwise to raise them back to safety.
It uses a Technora® rope lifeline that’s specifically designed to survive the extreme temperatures from an arc-flash event.
The device is rated to support workers (and their tools) weighing up to 310 lbs.
It’s ANSI Class 1 rated, so it can be anchored above the D-ring or up to 5 feet below it. Please note: it is not approved for leading-edge applications.
